Adventurers[edit | edit source]

Two monsters, a newlywed husband and wife, who are traveling through the Underground for their honeymoon. Despite being very lost, the husband insists they are not, as he does not want a bad honeymoon and by extension a bad marriage.

These NPCs are part of Slurpy's sidequest. If Clover has the Snowdin Map, it can be given to the wife in return for Matches, with her saying that the pair's love will keep them warm instead. The NPCs leave after Clover takes the raft with Martlet, however, putting a time limit on this quest.

On a Genocide Route, the adventurers both have dialogue about feeling unsafe and reconsidering their honeymoon. Later, if Clover backtracks once all enemies in Snowdin are cleared out, the male adventurer can be found alone. He apparently lost his wife in the commotion of evacuating and is waiting for her at the last place he saw her.

If at least four items were bought from Mo, the Adventurers appear first in line for Mo's stand in a scene of the True Pacifist end credits.

Slurpy[edit | edit source]

Slurpy is a rabbit-like monster found directly north of the first magma rock puzzle. Their tongue is frozen stuck to a lamppost, as three dogs dared them to lick it. If Clover completes the line of sidequests required to free Slurpy from the pole, they are rewarded with the Silver Scarf.

Further details can be seen on Slurpy's page.

Awkward Guy[edit | edit source]

A lanky monster with a Santa hat who is found in the room with the Ice Pellets. They repeat to Clover words of advice that they read in a book, that being that they can "press X to take it slow" (slow down movement speed while dodging attacks) and eat food to stay healthy. When talked to a third time, they give Clover a final piece of advice: that they are out of dialogue and Clover should leave.

If at least four items were bought from Mo, this NPC appears in line for Mo's stand in a scene of the True Pacifist end credits.

Jane Doe and Wanda[edit | edit source]

Main article: Fun Value#Jane Doe and Wanda

Jane Doe and Wanda are two special NPCs that can only be found if the player's Fun Value is between 30-34 (Jane Doe) or 35-39 (Wanda). If the Fun Value requirement is met, exiting the room with the Awkward Guy NPC will lead to a secret enclosed forest room containing either Jane Doe or Wanda. Both encounters are inconsequential, and if Clover leaves the room, they cannot re-enter.

Ice Wolf[edit | edit source]

A cameo of the exact same NPC, Ice Wolf, from Undertale. Like in Undertale, he appears by the edge of a river throwing a seemingly infinite stock of ice cubes into the water.

Cranky[edit | edit source]

Cranky[1] is an old lady monster found standing next to a suspended wooden bridge that Martlet has made into a puzzle. She complains to Clover about the state of the bridge and the low standards of the Royal Guard. Once Clover crosses the bridge and returns it to normal, Cranky becomes confused and disoriented.

When talking to Martlet in her jail cell after the third Wild East mission, she mentions that this NPC has also yelled at her personally.[2]

Snowflake[edit | edit source]

A small snowflake (Snowflake overworld.png) found on the ground in the room underneath the swinging bridge, identical to the snowflakes that drift across the screen except for the fact that it is stationary. It has only one line of dialogue: "Help, I can't melt!"

After all enemies in Snowdin are cleared out on a Genocide Route, the snowflake disappears, with the only remaining evidence of its existence being a small patch of damp ground.
