Saloon[edit | edit source]

Pyramid[edit | edit source]

A small pyramid-shaped monster in cowboy getup who appears in the top-right corner of the Saloon when Clover first enters town, and then again after Clover's battle with the Feisty Four. They are an ardent fan of North Star and look up to him as a role model, though they later reveal to Clover that they are happy to go along with whatever the current public opinion is. When talked to, they tell Clover about their desire to be North Star's sidekick or even roleplay as his son.

Shane[edit | edit source]

Shane[1] is a red bird-like monster found lying (nearly) passed out on the Saloon's counter, presumably drunk, when Clover first enters the town. They only speak in gibberish, though the narration translates their sounds into polite sentences afterwards.

Searby[edit | edit source]

Searby[2] is a flame-headed monster who appears at the Saloon bar when Clover first enters the Wild East. When talked to, they welcome Clover into the town and wish them luck, as well as hoping that they weren't frightened by the stage. They live out of town with other monsters they are close to, but mention wanting to bring their folks to see the Wild East.

Finger[edit | edit source]

A monster shaped like a finger found in one of the Saloon's crates when Clover first enters town. They apparently were a free addition to the Saloon's last shipment of bottles. Their dialogue is quite limited, as on second interaction they tell Clover to go away.

Poker Players[edit | edit source]

Three monsters sat playing poker in the corner of the Saloon when Clover first enters town. The middle monster, a tall figure with long eyestalks, appears to be cheating by surveying the other players' hands.

Bubblo[edit | edit source]

Bubblo[3] is a watery monster with a fedora who stands in the bottom left corner of the Saloon when Clover first enters town. They tell Clover about the Saloon's happy hour for half-priced drinks, and its "crappy hour", where drinks cost twice as much and Dina punches the customer. They also mention having a boyfriend who is a cactus.

Producer[edit | edit source]

A disheveled demon-like monster wearing sunglasses and professional attire, seen drinking at the Saloon when Clover first enters town. When talked to, they recount to Clover their dreams of becoming a music producer and ultimate failure in the industry, being overtaken by the likes of Mettaton (who they had foolishly insulted in the past).

The producer reappears in Hotland at the left side of the area. Here, they seem to be finding a successful career with a music team and have bought a house as a personal treat.

Blembino[edit | edit source]

Blembino is a tall and pale NPC found sitting in the Saloon after Clover's second and third training missions. They are rather arrogant and repeatedly tell Clover how superior they are to others, though they seem somewhat depressed as well, remarking that they can "do cool adult things like cry and also weep."

After the Feisty Five split up, Blembino can be found lying defeated in one of the clinic's beds. They apparently had gotten badly beaten up by Ed after taunting him, though they assert that it was just luck on Ed's part and this was all part of their plan. They remain in this bed for the rest of the game.

"Blembino" is mentioned in the game's special thanks, which may be either a reference to a real person that the character is named after, or a joke about the character themself. Their character was designed by Figburn.[4]

Outside[edit | edit source]

Happy Cactus[edit | edit source]

A bright green cactus monster who, unlike other cactus characters met in the game, has a happy-go-lucky attitude. They can be found outside the town clinic when Clover first enters town, enjoying the town's atmosphere. If talked to repeatedly, they tell Clover about their sad cousin in Oasis Valley (Hugtony) as well as Big Cactus, who they do not know.

If Starlo was spared, Happy Cactus appears outside the stable asking Clover to sign one of their needles. If Clover agrees, the NPC then mentions how they will sell the autograph online for a high price. Alternatively, if Starlo was killed, Happy Cactus has completely different dialogue where they hope the Feisty Five will get back together and ask Clover to tell Starlo that the town misses him.

Happy Cactus appears alongside Hugtony in the Wild East scene of the True Pacifist end credits.

Cowcat[edit | edit source]

A cat-like cowboy monster who first appears next to the firing range near Blackjack's house. They pretend to be a "bandit" asking Clover for catnip before revealing that it was actually a test of Clover's character and telling them to be more careful.

If Starlo was spared, the Cowcat can be found standing outside the Saloon, where they give Clover words of encouragement. Alternatively, if Starlo was killed, they tell Clover how worried they are about him.

Cowcat appears in line for Dina's outdoor bar during the Wild East scene of the True Pacifist end credits.

Kangarufus[edit | edit source]

Kangarufus[5] is a kangaroo-like monster wearing a cowboy hat. They first appear outside the Clinic after Clover's first training mission, where they attempt to rob Clover, but accidentally give them money instead (20G and then 5G). After Starlo is defeated, Kangarufus can be seen in the town's jail, having been arrested for using a cell phone in the Saloon. They comment on the evidence Martlet has left behind of her own stay in the jail cell (feathers on the ground and half-eaten moss on the wall).

Kangarufus is also one of the characters tied down to the right train track during the "Train Problem" mission.

Gamer[edit | edit source]

A blue monster with a triangular head found standing left of the clinic after Clover's second training mission. They struggle to stay in-character for the Wild East as they secretly sneak out to use the arcade machines in Cafe Dune, and recommend that Clover do the same.

If Starlo was spared, the Gamer reappears outside the clinic closer to its entrance, telling Clover about their newly-built gaming PC and videos they've seen online of others playing Mew Mew Love Blaster. If Starlo was killed, the NPC comments on how Clover does not look excited at their speech and quickly abandons the topic.

Cooper[edit | edit source]

Cooper is a cameo of the character of the same name from the Undertale fangame Undertale Green. He is a kindly turtle monster eager to make friends who appears outside the town jail after Clover's second and third training missions. He comments on the town's welcoming community, and mentions wanting to get to know another turtle monster that lives in Snowdin.

Vengeful Virgil[edit | edit source]

Vengeful Virgil is a wanted bandit and recurring character in the Wild East who has some kind of feud with Starlo. When Clover initially enters town, Virgil is imprisoned in the jail cell next to Martlet's, but after their first training mission he escapes. He can then be found outside the stable (after Clover's first mission) and by the west side of town (after Clover's second mission) acting suspiciously and denying it.

Clover's third training mission is diverted by one of Vengeful Virgil's schemes: he has tied various residents to train tracks and Clover must choose which track to send the train down, similar to the trolley problem. However, it is soon revealed that the incoming train is actually an actor wearing a box.

Before the fight with Starlo, Virgil can be found near the town's firing range reflecting on his actions and considering how playing villain would've made the others feel. He expresses the desire to move out of town and begin a "redemption arc". After this, Virgil gets a job in the East Mines and can be found on the mines' second floor should Clover backtrack. Here, he seems to have changed his ways and encourages Clover, advising them that though they will eventually need to set aside fantasies and become an adult, they shouldn't completely forget their adventurous side.

Clinic[edit | edit source]

Doctor[edit | edit source]

A monster wearing a plague doctor mask, also nicknamed "The Doc", who acts as the Wild East's doctor. He[6] remains in the clinic for the whole game, offering Clover the option to boost their HP above maximum (similar to Undertale's hotels) for a price of 30G. He also treats numerous NPCs who enter the clinic throughout the game, though his medical practices are somewhat questionable and experimental.

Inspecting the windows outside the clinic gives different dialogues about the happenings inside, three of which mention the doctor: him using a defibrillator to wake up a patient,[7] him cowering from another monster eating an apple (a reference to the phrase "an apple a day keeps the doctor away"),[8] and him using a buzzsaw to make a new bed.[6]

Sleepo[edit | edit source]

Sleepo[9] is a snoring monster identical to the ones from the Snowed Inn in Undertale. They are found sleeping in the Wild East's rightmost bed and do not leave or get up at all throughout the game. Interacting with Sleepo repeatedly will start a snored rendition of the Justice theme, much like the snored rendition of Determination in Undertale.

Karen[edit | edit source]

Karen[10] is a blue koala-like monster found lying in one of the clinic beds when Clover first enters town. They speak in a childlike way, replacing "R"s and "L"s with "W"s. They are not actually injured and are only in the clinic for the free lollipops. They also mention being given a hot chocolate pop by Mo.

Owen[edit | edit source]

Owen[11] is a red bull-like monster found lying in one of the clinic beds after Clover's first training mission. They complain about the clinic's poor food and hygiene standards while ending all their sentences with "yup". Like Karen, they are not actually sick, and are only there to complain.

Owen is one of the characters tied down to the right train track during the "Train Problem" mission. They do not appear again after this.

Marlyn[edit | edit source]

Marlyn[12] is a green insectoid monster found lying in one of the clinic beds after Clover's second training mission. The doctor has just replaced one of their pincers and they are still loopy from anesthetics, trying to tell Clover a joke about a pillar with a drawing of a cat on it before falling asleep.

Train Guy[edit | edit source]

A monster wearing a box who acts as the "train" during Clover's third training mission involving the "Train Problem". They are apparently the only actor in town and as such were hired by Vengeful Virgil for the part. After the mission, Train Guy can be found lying in one of the clinic's beds as they are stuck in the costume and need help getting out.

Stable[edit | edit source]

Fake Horse[edit | edit source]

A monster dressed as a horse who speaks in rhyming couplets. After their first dialogue, however, they drop the rhyming as they were only able to come up with one verse. If spoken to repeatedly, they reveal to Clover that they pretend to be a horse for self-expression purposes. Though the Fake Horse remains in the same spot for the rest of the game, their dialogue does not update at any point.

The Fake Horse can be seen eating a burger in the Wild East scene of the True Pacifist end credits.

Card Guy[edit | edit source]

The Card Guy is a shadowy figure in the stable running the game of Six-Shooter. Ace states that they are his friend, running the game while he oversees the profits. They were designed by Figburn.[4]

They speak in a similar manner to Ace. When interacted with, they offer Clover to explain the rules, ask them if they want to play, and congratulate them differently depending on how much they won.
