Bits on Asgore Dreemurr

Bits & Bites is a shop found in UG Apartments. It is run by two monsters, Bits and Buttons, who were both designed by Figburn.

Shop

The shop sells the following items:

• Delta Rune Patch for 100 G

Profile

Appearance

Bits is dark short humanoid monster with two horns pointing in opposite directions, big blue eyeballs with zero-shaped dark pupils, and a wide toothy smile. He wears some kind of purple triangular glasses, a yellow apron with badge on it, a purple t-shirt, and boots.

Buttons, a sock puppet on Bits's right hand, is a white sock with two buttons as eyes. The left eye is yellow with purple thread and right eye is purple with black thread.

Personality

Bits is extremely nice to Clover and welcoming, treating them like how a normal retail worker is expected to. He refers to King Asgore as "Mr. Fluffybuns." He is hesitant to talk about Toriel, despite reading "spicy gossip magazines" (according to Buttons).

On the other hand, Buttons is loud, vulgar, and has a temper problem. As when Clover refers to Buttons as "The Sock," he calls Clover an "expressionless infant who oughta take their mouth to the dump." Bits says they're working on Buttons' anger management. Buttons also tells Clover to not let the door hit them on the way out, has read Bits's said magazines, and says that science is poison.

Main Story

Neutral/Pacifist Route

Bits and Bites sell several healing items and armor to the protagonist. If Clover enters the shop with Martlet, Buttons becomes suspicious of the two and Martlet ends up referring to Clover as her "kiddo."

Genocide Route

In the Genocide Route, Bits and Bites are not present in their shop at all. The usual shop options are replaced with "take" and "steal" like all shops. The lights inside are turned off, but the neon sign outside is still on. On the right side of the shop's background stands a lanky humanoid figure covered in shadow.
