Telly-Vis is an enemy encountered in the Steamworks. It consists of two robots: Telly and Vis.

Profile[edit | edit source]

Appearance[edit | edit source]

Telly-Vis’s design is based off of an old CRT TV with a built-in VCR. According to battle dialogue, Vis’s mouth is the flap in which VHS tapes are inserted.

Personality[edit | edit source]

Telly-Vis seemingly has two personalities, one for Telly, and one for Vis. Telly (she/her) is the telivision portion of Telly-Vis. She is seemingly very nice towards Clover, however she does not seem to like Vis very much, occassionally poking at his mouth flap. Vis (he/him) is the VCR pirtion of Telly-Vis, and is a lot more cynical, claiming that Telly’s live satelite airings are “so temporary” due to them only being able to be viewed once without his help recording them, complaining about how reruns aren’t nessesary when you can just record the show to a VHS and watch it back whenever you want.

Telly and Vis both seem to show great distain towards each other, with Telly putting her hands in Vis’s mouth and Vis using Telly’s remote to change her channel during attacks. It is strongly implied that Telly and Vis are only together due to them being manufatured as one machine, as a VCR without a tv to record things on would be useless and a TV without a method of recording and playing back videos, while not being unusable, would be quite outdated.

Pacifist Route[edit | edit source]

Genocide Route[edit | edit source]

In Battle[edit | edit source]

Attacks[edit | edit source]

  • The SVS logo will quickly bounce off of all sides of the bullet box, cycling between white, blue, and orange.
  • A VHS tape will quickly fly from one end of the bullet box to the other, one at a time.
  • Telly-Vis will flip channels in quick succession of any* attacks used by previous enemies. If an attack is used that normally changes the shape of the bullet box, the bullet box will not be affected in fights against Telly-Vis.

Strategy[edit | edit source]

Clover can spare Telly-Vis by using Signal and then Watch.
