Dummy is a training dummy encountered in the Wild East range during Clover's first mission with Starlo. A returning character from Undertale, it serves as the tutorial battle for using the Wild Revolver.

Profile[edit | edit source]

Appearance[edit | edit source]

Its appearance is identical to its appearance in Undertale, although with a more vivid orange color in the overworld than the one in the Ruins, possibly to adapt to Dunes's lighting. It wears a cowboy hat in combat.

Main Story[edit | edit source]

Neutral/Pacifist Route[edit | edit source]

During Starlo's first mission in the Wild East, Clover obtains the Wild Revolver from Blackjack. They arrive at the range in the Wild East, where three training dummies are present, and Starlo commands Clover to test their new gun out in battle with the Dummy. Unlike the Dummy from Undertale, this one does not appear to have a ghost inside.

In Battle[edit | edit source]

Strategy[edit | edit source]

The dummy's only purpose is to let the player get used to fighting with the Wild Revolver. The battle only ends when Clover hits it with any amount of force three times, knocking its hat off. The dummy does not fight back, and the battle displays no damage or HP indicators for the dummy. Despite the dummy internally rewarding 3 EXP and 2 G upon defeat, due to the way battle ends this never happens.
