Sweet Corn is a monster first encountered in the corn field of the Dark Ruins.

Appearance

Sweet Corn is, as the name implies, a monster greatly resembling a cross between a corn cob and a piece of candy corn. She has a perpetual smile on her face, giving her a "sweet" vibe.

Personality

Sweet Corn is constantly happy and encourages others to be as happy as she is – to the point she is fine with Clover licking her as long as it makes them feel happy.

Main Story

Sweet Corn's scripted encounter is right at the start of the corn field in Dark Ruins.

Pacifist Route

After sparing Dalv, a Sweet Corn can be found in the corn storage room talking about opening a free hugs booth, with the business being called "Sweet Corn's Perennial Hugs." After getting the ability to Fast Travel, a Sweet Corn right next to the exit from the Dark Ruins in Snowdin can be found waiting for her siblings to get out of the Dark Ruins so they can migrate to a warmer environment, and gives Clover a challenge to hug someone before they leave.

In the True Pacifist ending credits, she can be seen in the crowd watching Dalv's organ concert at the Honeydew Resort, as well as in the Wild East corn sale.

Attacks

• Candy Corn: Three pieces of candy corn appear to the left of the Bullet Board one at a time, then shoot to the right. Then, three more pieces of candy corn do the same but from the right side.
• Spear Corn: Tall, thin stalks of corn shoot from the bottom of the Bullet Board, starting underneath the SOUL but at a delay.
• Homing Corn: A large corn cob appears above the Bullet Board and chases the SOUL around.

Strategy

Sweet Corn can be spared by selecting the Hug ACT. Alternatively, selecting Gift with the Candy Corn or Corn Dog in Clover's inventory makes her spareable, though this loses the healing item. If both items are in their inventory, Clover gives away the Candy Corn.
