Profile

Appearance

Jandroid is a strange-looking robot. With a mop bucket for feet, disembodied hands that hold a janitor's mop and headphones with an eighth note on the ears.

Personality

Contrary to the name of the Jandroid, it's particularly adverse to cleaning, seeing cleanliness as disgusting, going as far as to try and staining Clover's vest just to make it dirty. Furthermore, upon offering to clean the Jandroid, it gets offended and throws garbage at them, ironically leading to Clover being more clean.

Main Story

Jandroid is a scripted encounter in the bridge before the lake.

Pacifist Route

After sparing Axis, Jandroid can be found as a NPC in the bridge he is first fought. They seems to be working as intended again at least partially, as he talks about being concentrated cleaning the bridge they are in. They then notice how Clover could use some cleaning and how they could go clean themselves in the washing machines of the generator complex, before retracting and suggesting Clover shouldn’t do it. They then joke about Clover wanting to drink their mop water and carry on with their work.

Attacks

• All of Jandroid's attacks make the SOUL slippery to control for the duration of the entire battle, even when spared or killed.
• Jandroid repeatedly lifts a bottle up and down that shoots 5 small projectiles.
• Exclamation marks flash before buckets head in the opposite direction of where the mark was facing. If battled solo, there are 3 buckets, and in a duo there are 5.
• Jandroid empties a bucket of mopwater that can drop a green bar of soap.

• "Jandroid" is a merge of the words "janitor" and "android."
  • Judging from the overall appearance and the fact it can appear with Goosic, Jandroid may also be a reference to the internet creator Fandroid.
• Using the analyze act on Jandroid sometimes crashes the game.
• It is implied through the Analyze act, a few of its quotes and actions that the primary reason why it hates cleaning (despite being designed to clean) is that it's suffering from an short-circuit caused by water damage, as most of the text related to it involve water entering its body.
• Jandroid can be seen as an allusion to Woshua from Undertale, but unlike Woshua, Jandroid actively detests cleaning.
