Waterfall
Waterfall is a mentioned location returning from Undertale. While Clover never explores this area, it is brought up several times in Undertale Yellow.
Main Story[edit | edit source]
After Integrity's fight with Dalv, they fled to Waterfall. This is where Axis chased them down, unwillingly killed them, and hid the evidence. In Undertale, Integrity's equipment, the Ballet Shoes and Old Tutu, can be found hidden in Waterfall, matching this information.
By the time Clover enters the Underground, Undyne is the royal guard who keeps watch in Waterfall.[1] While she is mentioned, she never appears. After defeating Martlet, Clover will ride on her boat, with or without her depending on how she was defeated, and pass through Waterfall.
In the first phase of Flowey's fight in the Neutral Route, Waterfall is one of the places Clover can be chased. In the post-credits scene of the True Pacifist Ending, Clover's friends hold their funeral at a river in Waterfall.
Geography[edit | edit source]
Garbage Dump[edit | edit source]
The Garbage Dump, as in Undertale, is the location where rivers in the Underground carry items from the surface to. Monsters use it to connect to human culture and reuse humanity's unwanted items.
Various references are made to the Garbage Dump:
- Clover's Wild Revolver and Nice Hat end up in the Garbage Dump in the True Pacifist Ending, where Bratty and Catty find it and put it up for sale in Undertale.
- Starlo found his cowboy films there when he was younger.[2]
- Rodney's Band once performed there.[3]
- The broken arcade machine in Café Dune was found there, likely along with the other arcade machines.[4]
- Crispy Scroll complains about not being able to find anime there after unlocking Fast Travel on a Pacifist Route.[5]
- Residents of UG Apartments can throw their garbage into the Dump.[6]
